LA Political Veteran Calls for Gov. Debates in All 64 Parishes

Louisiana based political analyst and pollster, Ron Faucheux, has proposed that there should be 64 gubernatorial debates across Louisiana’s 64 parishes this year. Faucheux suggests that these debates should focus on the state's economic future, including the role of education, job training, healthcare, public safety, infrastructure, poverty, insurance rates and fiscal and structural reforms. He also emphasized the importance of electing a governor with vision, who can move the state from 50th to 1st and who can outline opportunities for the next 20 years for the children and grandchildren of Louisiana. Unfortunately, Faucheux says that too many candidates are skipping debates and forums, and he urges citizens to be informed, look beyond labels and to elect good candidates.
